Floral Whispers at the Rockefeller Gallery on the Rockefeller State Park Preserve
Morry Silbiger, Yellow Orchids, Oil
Rockefeller State Park Preserve in Pleasantville, Westchester County New York is home to the Rockefeller Gallery, and I was invited to the Woman in the Arts Panel Discussion over the weekend. I finally was able to see their current exhibit Floral Whispers curated by artist Lisa D’Amico. The show closes June 20th. If you cannot make it to the gallery in-person, the exhibit is viewable online

This is not a muted, demure, or fussy floral art show. The artwork is vibrant, diverse, and kicks off the summer season. It also served as the perfect backdrop for the five speakers, and most of the speakers happend to be wearing blue (total synchronicity). I have included some of my favorite artworks from the show, and reviews of the artwork are now featured on Art Critic in 1 Minute episodes on YouTube and Instagram Can you guess which artwork was my favorite and why? Which artwork is your favorite?
